COULD WELL STAND JESUS INSTEAD OF LORD AND CHRIST, BUT IT IS
WRITTEN LIKE THIS; SO WE UNDERSTAND WHO IT IS ABOUT.
Do
you actually know that the word Christian means. CHRIST ONE? THAT IS
WHAT WE CALL OURSELVES WHEN WE SAY WE ARE CHRISTIANS.
ALL
CHRISTIANS SHOULD READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS TEACHING.
Many
Christians are so busy serving God in the old Adam,
that they
get in his way and hinder the work of the Holy Spirit in their
carnal
zeal. Not to mention those who have never walked with the Lord at
all.
PS.23 1-6
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not
want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me to the
waters of rest, he satisfies my soul, he leads me in straight paths
for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod
and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the
presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs
over. ONLY GOODNESS AND MERCY WILL FOLLOW ME ALL MY DAYS, AND IN THE
HOUSE OF THE LORD I SHALL LIVE FOR LONG TIMES.
The Lord
finds the lost sheep, which is me/you.
This is where we are
saved/born again. The shepherd Jesus saves us from the wolf of this
world. And we ourselves are in such need for other lost sheep, that
we ourselves run out to find the other lost sheep.
We did not
understand what we are being taught here.
TO THE WATERS OF
REST HE LEADS ME.
Who leads? The shepherd Jesus. Through the
priest, you or me? No! We cannot lead to the waters of rest, we can
only show them to the shepherd Jesus. Then he takes over. Your walk
with Jesus does not begin with doing something for him, but with
receiving something from him.
I must first learn to rest
in him.
It is a difficult lesson, many never enter this rest,
but start by doing/working for him. Before they are equipped by the
Spirit. They do not discover that it is their old Adam and the flesh
that now serves Jesus to be rewarded in the coming world/heaven
someday. This happens in their subconscious, as it is still in the
consciousness of old Adam.
To be led to the waters of
rest/baptism is to be led to the death and burial of old Adam. Here I
am not ONLY talking about the physical baptism, but about the
spiritual understanding of baptism. The physical baptism can very
well be done in the spirit of old Adam, to do something for God, so
that he is pleased with us. But I am talking about God doing
something for us in baptism. Old Adam's baptism and repentance do not
bring us closer to God's good pleasure. What does God do for us in
the waters of baptism/rest?
ROM.6-4 WE WERE BURIED WITH
HIM BY BAPTISM UNTO DEATH, THAT, AS CHRIST WAS RAISED UP FROM THE
DEAD BY THE GLORY OF THE FATHER, SO WE ALSO SHOULD LIVE (walk in) A
WHOLE NEW LIFE.
If you read further here you can see that
we are crucified with Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
We are
therefore crucified with death. We can call it the rest of death AWAY
FROM old Adam. Until we have, deep in our spiritual understanding,
experienced it, we should not walk in the works of the Lord. If you
understand what I am teaching here, you will understand that many in
the churches would rather stay in their chairs until they have
understood death = rest. That would be best for both them and
God.
There are some beginning reasons in life with God in
Christ that we must get to grips with before we can serve/walk before
His presence. We must lie at his feet by the waters of rest until we
have fallen asleep in faith in our inner man.
EPH.1-7 IN
HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION BY HIS BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, AS RICH
AS GOD'S GRACE IS.
We misunderstand many things on the
spiritual journey, therefore it is important that we have servants
who can correct us.
Did you know, for example, that there
is no salvation in the cross?
Salvation is in the man on
the cross. We are included in him by God. And in him we HAVE received
the forgiveness of sins.
BECAUSE OF GOD'S GRACE.
So
it is not because of repentance and water baptism that we HAVE
received the forgiveness of sins, but it is ONLY because of his
sacrifice on Calvary.
EPH.1-13 IN HIM YOU ALSO WERE , WHEN
YOU HEARED THE WORD OF TRUTH, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION - YES, IN
HIM YOU ALSO WERE , WHEN YOU CAME TO BELIEVED, SEAL'D WITH THE HOLY
SPIRIT, WHICH WAS PROMISED TO US
The whole time it says:
HIM. When did this begin IN HIM? In baptism? NO, ON THE CROSS! What
is the gospel? It is that we died with Jesus and rose with Jesus! It
is imputed to ALL people on earth. Seen from God's eyes, ALL ARE DEAD
WITH CHRIST. The old noble family no longer exists in God's eyes. Do
you think that also applies to you?
yes, YOU ARE ALSO A
GENDER OF ADAM.
But in God's eyes you no longer exist. What has
become of you? You are included in the death and resurrection of
Jesus and are now a completely new person, A CHRISTIAN PERSON. You
must ask the Spirit of God to show you this in God's word! And from
there in your inner man. We must also ask God to send servants in His
church who have seen for themselves.it and live it. ( are you praying
for it?)
We should not be sent into service BEFORE we have
seen it.
Many think they have talent for one thing or another,
but they are not sent into the service they think they are doing. It
is the thoughts and wisdom of their own flesh that they serve with
and in, in old Adam. Of course we all have testimonies from our lives
to tell others about, we can all tell about Jesus about God and the
gospel for salvation but it is not a separate service in itself, it
is only natural that we are God's witnesses and light in everyday
life Jesus in us not ourselves. We see it especially online where
many call themselves one thing or another without being sent from God
having God's stamp on them in what they call their service.
We
must experience it in our inner man, so that it becomes a rest from
our own works. We must remain at the waters of rest, that is, the
meaning of baptism in a spiritual sense until the Holy Spirit has
shed light on this revelation. (not a faith of the mind, but a
revelation of the Spirit deep in our minds.)
We should not
live with the mind in the service of God but with the heart, speaking
and acting as the Holy Spirit in us wants. I can, I am good at it, I
have talents etc. forget it, what about Jesus in your place?
When
we then go from this lovely resting position on the green slopes and
out into the service of God. Then we are grounded in the gospel. AND
NOT BEFORE! WE HAVE NOT WENT OUT TO DO SOMETHING, BUT TO BE
SOMETHING. (have we seen it, then we have understood.) We have
understood that we are in Christ and he is in us. And he is never in
a hurry! MAT. 11 28-29 COME TO ME, ALL YOU WHO ARE TIRED AND WEIGHTED
DOWN WITH BURDEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.
How many
Christians are stressed or burn out, we have answered here, they are
not all resting in God and still have something they think they
should but they are not called to the service of God, do not have the
temple of God on them in the service they think they have, therefore
no one happens and miracles do not heal those who ask for them, they
have not received the gift of God's grace for it.
Many
Christians are tired and burdened by legal Christianity.
Of all
that they have to do for God. Of a bad conscience for all that they
did not do. IT IS ALL OLD ADAM'S CONCERNS TOGETHER. YOU ARE SET FREE
TO DO SOMETHING FOR GOD. HE HAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY FOR YOU
EPH.2 8-10 “ FOR BY GRACE ARE YOU SAVED THROUGH FAITH, AND THAT NOT
OF YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, SO THAT NO ONE
CAN BOAST. FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS UNTO
GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN
THEM.
So salvation is to accept the gift!
And
the gift is to accept that God counts us in the death, burial and
resurrection of His Son. That is what grace is. So you may ask:
Should I not do anything to be saved? NO, GOD IS THE GIFT UNDESERVED
BY GRACE. You also do not have to do anything to not lose your place
of salvation in Heaven, God has put you there. You just have to
accept it in faith that the gift is for you. It is not because of
you. himself! IT IS THE GOSPEL.
When you understand it, as
an inner revelation, we walk with God, but the walk is not in the old
Adam, but in the new man in Christ. Now you are free from having to
satisfy God by your works. HE WANTS TO LIVE HIS LIFE THROUGH YOU! HIS
WORK IS US, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS FOR GOOD WORKS. Did you see
the word here? CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS! You are now a new creature. A
Christ creature.
And what is the purpose of it?
FOR
GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE, THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN
THEM.”
How? LEADING BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Whose good
works are we to walk in? Is it the works of the old Adam? No, he is
dead. THESE ARE GOD'S OWN WORKS, WHICH HAVE BEEN PREPARED BY
HIMSELF.
How do we find them?
THEY COME TO US. EPH.4
21-24 “ AS YOU HAVE HEARD OF HIM AND HAVE BEEN TEACHED IN HIM, AS
THE TRUTH IS IN JESUS: THAT YOU SHOULD PUT OFF YOUR OLD MAN (old
Adam, who is dead) WHICH IS CORRUPTED BY ITS DECEPTIVE DESIRE, AND BE
RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND - AND THAT YOU SHOULD PUT ON THE
NEW MAN (Christ my coming), WHICH WAS CREATED IN THE LIKENESS OF GOD
TO LIVE IN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PIETY THAT BELONGS TO THE
TRUTH.
Renewed in your mind and spirit.
The basic
language here is: Nùos and means: renewed in understanding and
thinking. We have received new thoughts, God's thoughts, which this
world has never known. Suddenly we do/say something we had not
thought of ourselves on, afterwards we think, was it really me who
could say and do that? No, it was God through Jesus in you by his
Holy Spirit who suddenly gave you a spontaneous input so that His not
your good work was done.
CHRIST'S THOUGHTS.
It is the
new thoughts and this new mind that leads us into the works of God.
His thoughts and mindset express themselves in a different way of
living.
THIS IS WHAT IS GOD'S PRE-ORDERED WORKS.
It
is the Spirit of God that now lives through us. We are driven by the
Spirit. We are not driven by old Adam's understanding that he must
satisfy God. We are not driven by people either

, who will drive us into a herd for their own gain. WE ARE DRIVEN BY THE SPIRIT, as an individual human being. Paul says: 1 COR.1 12-18 “ I MEAN THAT EACH OF YOU SAYS, I AM OF PAUL, AND I AM OF APOLLOS, AND I AM OF CEPHAS, AND I AM OF CHRIST. IS CHRIST DIVIDED, THEN? WAS PAUL CRUCIFIED FOR YOU? OR WERE YOU BAPTIZED INTO THE NAME OF PAUL? I THANK GOD THAT I BAPTIZED NONE OF YOU EXCEPT CRISPUS AND GAIUS, SO THAT NO ONE SHOULD SAY THAT YOU WERE BAPTIZED INTO MY NAME. BUT I BAPTIZED THE HOUSEHOLD OF STEPHANIA, OR I DON’T KNOW IF I BAPTIZED ANYONE. FOR CHRIST SENT ME NOT TO BAPTIZE, BUT TO PREACH THE GOSPEL; NOT WITH WISDOM OF WORD, LEST THE CROSS OF CHRIST SHOULD BE NULLIFIED. FOR THE WORD OF THE CROSS IS TO THOSE WHO ARE LOST, FOOLISHNESS, BUT TO US WHO ARE SAVED, IT IS THE POWER OF GOD.” I am a follower of Paul, I am a follower of Apollos. You can put in another name yourself, who you are a follower of. You know all those you are a follower of, those you call great in the kingdom of God, will die one day, if Jesus does not get his church before. What do you have to boast about who you are a follower of? But if you have such a name, then you have not understood anything of what we share here. Paul was not sent to baptize, does that mean that he was against baptism? No, far from it, Paul himself was baptized. But he was baptized on the basis of the meaning of the cross. THE WORD ABOUT THE CROSS IS THE GOSPEL. As we have pointed out here: On that cross you died, because of that cross you were buried and because of your death on that cross you got a share in the resurrection. It all happened IN CHRIST. It is His death, burial and resurrection that you share in. But baptism is a confirmation that you have understood it. Therefore, it is more important for Paul to preach about the cross than to baptize. He left that to others in the church. But baptism is a consequence of faith, as a confirmation that we have accepted the gospel of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus. It has something to do with my new mind = the mind of Christ. Do not go into service for God until you understand the gospel of the cross and see that Christ is your life. Christ also means the anointed Son of God. Jesus is His name which is I AM. You serve in His mind, He serves through you. THERE IS NO GLORY TO YOU, EVERYTHING IS BY GRACE ONLY. 1 COR. 1 30-31 “ BUT IT IS BECAUSE OF HIM THAT YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO HAS BECOME TO US WISDOM FROM GOD, BOTH RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SANCTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION, SO THAT, AS IT IS WRITTEN, HE WHO BOASTS SHOULD BOAST IN THE LORD.” DID YOU GET WISDOM? You who come to a church dress up nicely so people will see you and hear you, be careful. Has God put his stamp on what you call your ministry? Has God called you to it? You who pray and pray. Lord help me to be a witness, to talk about you. You are already God's light where you are.
